The special characteristics of the size and location of the Natural Park in the eastern part of the province of Jaen bordered on the northeast by the Sierra de Alcaraz (Albacete) and in the Southwest with the Sierra de Castril Natural Park (Granada), allows access to the Natural Park from multiple directions.
Therefore, the main hub is the Andalucian highway or N-IV (Madrid-Cadiz), which, via the N-322 (Córdoba-Valencia) connects the area to Western Andalucia and the rest of the Regions. The entrance to Andalucia from Northern Spain is via the Natural Park of Despeñaperros, reaching Bailén, where we take the N-322, in the direction of Linares and Ubeda as far as Torreperogil. There we take a right on to the A-315, in the direction of Peal de Becerro and from there the A-319 to Cazorla.
The entry into the region via the N-322 from Albacete, can be made from the turn off at Torreperogil, already discussed, or earlier, in Villacarrillo, in the direction of Mogón, to San Tomé. From here via the JV-7101 to Cazorla or turning on to the JV - 7102 to Chilluévar.
For visitors coming from the South of Andalucia, Murcia and Alicante, can access the area via the A-92 to the proximities of Baza, where it links with the A-315 that leads to Pozo Alcon, Quesada and Peal de Becerro. Visitors from Almeria and Granada have no choice but to take the A-320 through Iznalloz and Guadahortuna to Jódar and to Peal de Becerro (C-328), and the (A-319) to Cazorla.
Visitors coming from the north of the province of Granada can make it via the C-321 from La Puebla de Don Fadrique leading to Santiago de la Espada. The latter access is widely used by visitors from Murcia.
